Death By Mouse Shock

The touch sensitive mouse-pad on my laptop gives me a small, steady and irritating electrical shock whenever I touch it (I suspect this may have something to do with the industrial strength magnet I kept sticking to it the other day while watching "Benny and Joon"). After experimentation, I have discovered that this can be temporarily stopped by wiping it with a very wet cloth. Because of my reservations about the long term effects of such a policy, I was wondering whether anyone had any better ideas?

  1. The following observation will be of no use to you, and lacks any purely artistic merit. However, I never let utility and quality prevent me from regurgitating electronically.
    1) You have very few comments, I therefore suspect that you have few readers.
    2) One of these readers is JPatrick, who has not been entirely sympathetic to date.
    3) One of the others is me, (and I only read because the aforementioned gentleman, in an unguarded moment, confessed to being intimidated by you) and I know fuck all about fuck all.
Therefore, if you are really using this forum as a medium for enlisting help, I suggest that you try to expand your circulation (missus). Try writing offensive comments on the blogs of the rich and famous, and some of their friends might nip over here to abuse you. When I am seeking attention, for example, I nip over to Boris and tell him he's a twat.
    I hope that this helps.

  2. If you think Boris Johnson is more attractive than Penelope Cruz then you are just as dangerous as he is. Though I will take your advice - thanks for the tip.

  3. I was thinking that this sort of thing was more representative:
